Our read on it
Twelve different textures in one toy, and that is the heart of it: a baby learns the world through hands and mouth before eyes, and texture variety is what builds their sensory map. It covers the whole first year because its role changes with the child: first they look at it, then grasp it, then explore the textures.
Pros
- 12 different textures and colours in one toy
- Covers the whole first year in different roles
- Bright colours a baby can see
- No batteries
Cons
- Varied textures collect dust and lint
- Needs frequent washing, slower than wiping plastic
Important safety information
Inspect before every use for any small part starting to come loose, since detached parts are a choking hazard. Wash before first use. Do not leave it in the cot during sleep: the cot stays completely clear.
