Our read on it
Wind-up rather than battery powered, and that is the best thing about them: no batteries in a bathroom at all, and no battery compartment for water to get into and corrode. A toy that moves through water also makes a child who resists bathing sit and watch, and that alone earns thirty-six riyals for anyone fighting a daily battle at the tub.
Pros
- Wind-up not battery, so no batteries in the bathroom
- Movement in water occupies a child who resists bathing
- Three pieces in three colours
- Fairly priced
Cons
- The wind-up mechanism fails with rough use
- Needs drying or water collects inside
Important safety information
Empty and dry them fully after every bath, since water trapped inside bath toys grows mould that squirts out next time. Inspect inside where possible and discard at the first black spotting. Use under supervision, and never leave a child in water alone.
