Our read on it
The cheapest thing on this entire list, and the idea behind it is clever: a baby does not know their hands and feet are theirs in the early months. A worn rattle makes a sound when they move, so they connect movement to sound and discover these limbs belong to them and answer to them. That is a genuine developmental step rather than just a toy.
Pros
- The cheapest item on this entire list
- Helps a baby discover their hands and feet
- Four pieces for both wrists and both feet
- Stimulates hand, eye and hearing coordination
Cons
- Serves a short stage
Important safety information
Use under supervision and never leave a baby wearing them during sleep, since a band around a wrist or ankle is a constriction and entanglement risk. Check the band is not tight on the limb. Inspect the stitching before every use and discard at the first opening, since the small parts inside are a choking hazard.
