Our read on it
The fridge is the one place a child passes twenty times a day, and putting letters on it means repeated exposure with no teaching session. That is the whole idea of the product, and it is a good one. Important note: these are Latin letters, not Arabic, so they are for English. Read the magnet warning below before buying.
Pros
- 52 pieces covering letters and numbers
- The fridge means daily exposure with no lesson
- Colours help with recognition and sorting
Cons
- Latin letters, not Arabic
- Small pieces are constantly lost under the fridge
- Unsuitable under three
Important safety information
Small magnetic pieces are more dangerous than large ones because they are easier to swallow. Swallowing two or more magnets is a life-threatening emergency requiring urgent surgery. Never leave them with an under-three. Count the pieces after play and look for any that fell under the fridge, since a lost piece reaches a crawling baby. Discard any letter that is cracked or has an exposed magnet.
