Our read on it
By a clear margin the cheapest 240 ml bottle on this list, and it carries the AVS vent system which does a job close to Dr. Brown's at a third of the price. Pigeon is a long-established Japanese bottle brand. A quirk worth noticing: the Pigeon 160 ml on this list costs more than this 240 ml, so here the bigger bottle is the cheaper one.
Pros
- The cheapest 240 ml bottle here
- AVS vent system cuts swallowed air
- Wide neck, easy to fill and wash
- A long-established Japanese bottle brand
Cons
- Plastic scratches and discolours with repeated sterilising
- A single bottle; you need more than one to rotate
Important safety information
No microwave. Test the milk on your inner wrist before every feed. Never leave a baby feeding alone and never prop the bottle. Stretch-test the teat before every use. Replace a plastic bottle once it shows clear scratching or discolouration, since scratches hold milk residue.
