Our read on it
Look carefully at this comparison before buying: the same product in a fifty-count pack is listed on this very list at eighty-eight riyals fifteen halalas, and this hundred-count pack is eighty-nine riyals ninety halalas. The difference is one riyal seventy-five halalas for twice as many bags. There is not a single reason to buy the fifty-count, and this is one of the clearest pricing gaps we found on the whole list.
Pros
- Twice the bags of the fifty-count for under two riyals more
- Pre-sterilised and ready to use
- A writing area for the date on every bag
- A double seal that reduces leaks
Cons
- Single use, so a recurring plastic waste stream
- The bags split if filled past the marked line
Important safety information
The accepted breast milk storage rules: four hours at room temperature, four days in the fridge, six months in the freezer. Write the date on every bag and use the oldest first. Thawed milk is used within twenty-four hours in the fridge and is never refrozen. Never warm milk in a microwave, which creates hot spots that burn a baby's mouth and damages the antibodies. Thaw in warm water and swirl gently.
