Our read on it
What separates it from a plain wall sticker is that it gets used rather than only looked at: chalkboard, magnet board and decoration together. A child who draws on walls will draw on walls, and the answer is to give them a wall meant for it. A warning from the maker itself: choose the position carefully on delicate latex-painted walls, since removing it can take the paint with it.
Pros
- Three functions: chalkboard, magnet board and decoration
- Large at 110 by 80 cm
- Gives the child a wall meant for drawing instead of the room's
- Self-adhesive with no fitting
Cons
- Can pull paint off on removal, which the maker itself warns about
- Chalk leaves dust on the floor beneath it
- Very expensive for a wall decal
Important safety information
Use dustless chalk where possible and sweep beneath it regularly. Keep chalk pieces and magnets away from under-threes: a swallowed small magnet is a serious emergency requiring immediate medical care. Mount it at a height the child reaches without climbing.
