Our read on it
The Natural Response teat releases milk only when the baby actively sucks, unlike teats that drip the moment you tip them. That matters if you breastfeed and want to alternate without the baby learning an easier flow and then refusing the breast. It is also the best value in the Avent family here: thirty riyals a bottle against fifty-one for the single.
Pros
- Milk only comes out when the baby sucks, so no free flow
- About half the per-bottle price of the single
- Supports the baby's own drinking rhythm
- BPA-free plastic that is light and does not break
Cons
- 125 ml is outgrown quickly after three months
- Plastic discolours and scratches with repeated sterilising
Important safety information
Never heat a bottle in a microwave: it warms milk unevenly and leaves scalding pockets even when the bottle feels cool outside. Test the milk on the inside of your wrist before every feed. Never leave a baby to feed alone or prop the bottle on a pillow, which is a choking risk. Stretch-test the teat before every use and replace it at the first tear.
