Our read on it
An open basket on a shelf is faster than a lidded box when you need a wipe one-handed with the other on the baby. Natural cotton is soft, so it does not scuff the wall or the shelf, which matters above a changing table where baskets are pulled out and put back ten times a day. Three sizes is enough to split nappies, wipes and creams.
Pros
- Soft natural cotton rope that does not scuff shelves or walls
- Open-topped, usable one-handed
- Three sizes cover nappies, wipes and creams
- Looks right in a nursery in a way plastic does not
Cons
- Cotton absorbs spills, which leave a mark
- Lose their upright shape and sag over time
Important safety information
Place them on a secure shelf and not on an edge, since a full basket above a changing table is a falling hazard onto the baby. Never use one as a bed or put a baby in it.
