Our read on it
Gulf water is hard, and limescale is what kills these machines early. The tablets break down the scale and the milk film that builds up in the internal channels, and they work in warmers and sterilisers, not only the KleanPal. This is the second running cost after the detergent tablets, so count both together.
Pros
- Break down scale and milk film in the internal channels
- Work in warmers, sterilisers and bottle appliances generally
- Extend the machine's life in a hard-water area
Cons
- A second running cost on top of the detergent tablets
Important safety information
Store sealed and completely out of children's reach: they are small tablets that resemble sweets. Run a full rinse cycle after descaling before any bottle goes in, and never let a descaled part touch the baby's mouth before rinsing.
