Important safety information
Two important points. First, do not introduce a pacifier before breastfeeding is established, usually after the first three or four weeks, since offering it early can affect the latch. Second, never tie a pacifier to a cord or chain around a child's neck or clothing: that is a real strangulation hazard. Pull-test it before every use and discard immediately at the first tear, stickiness or colour change. Replace it every one to two months. Wash it after every drop, and never clean it in your own mouth.
